We are living in a digital world, and I am a calligraphy girl.

My story

I’m Jessica— a middle school English teacher, human and dog mom, and chocolate enthusiast. Since elementary school, I loved writing in cursive and then learned how to write italicized calligraphy with fountain pens. I quickly realized that not only was it something I enjoyed, but other people loved receiving something written out in calligraphy for them.

As I got older and life became more complicated, calligraphy and other hobbies went by the wayside, I lost a sense of myself, and my anxiety increased.

I decided to revisit calligraphy by taking a pointed dip-pen class, and my love reignited. Not only have I made time for myself, but calligraphy helps slow down my breathing and racing thoughts. It’s something I look forward to doing every day.

With my business, I aim to make others happy, share my love of beautiful writing, help others gain an appreciation for what is becoming a lost art, and hopefully inspire future generations to pick up a pen.

Why choose calligraphy?

Calligraphy can offer personalization and uniqueness, unlike any standard font. It can help you create the exact style and feel of a gift or special event that you are looking for. This ancient art form not only looks beautiful, but it also makes anyone who receives it feel special. As we become more immersed in technology, learning handwriting is becoming less of a priority, making it even more special to receive something written especially for you.

Calligraphy is the most intimate, private, and spontaneous expressive means. Like a fingerprint or voice, it is unique with every person.”
